Charity Technology Trust (CTT) empowers British charities through the effective use of technology.
It provides services in the following areas: lotteries, which are a
common form of fundraising for causes in UK; ASP and Web-based
solutions, and IT consulting. CTT launched the Charity Technology Exchange program in partnership with TechSoup in July 2006. CTT was one of the first pilot countries.
Charity Technology Trust (CTT) is a five year old charity and social enterprise with a mission to demonstrate how the effective use of technology can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of charities and voluntary organisations. CTT was one of the first partners in the TechSoup Global Network, joining in 2005 with a pilot for distributing Cisco donations, and launched their donations platform under the flag of Charity Technology eXchange (CTX) in July of 2006.
CTT is a specialist, independent and impartial organisation. It focuses mainly on the provision of a wide range of products and services including Donated Products, used to increase charities’ efficiency in many of their core areas of activity:
CTT’s email business distributes nearly 2 million messages per month and has overturned the sector’s traditional love of direct mail and demonstrated the efficiency and effectiveness of electronic communications, while their growing payments portfolio provides a range of solutions that specifically address the needs of charities’ fundraising operations.
“CTT gives charities the confidence that there is a group of technology experts who have only the charity sector’s long-term best interests at heart and who are fighting for them to demystify and deliver the right IT solution to their unique problems and issues.”
