East Bay Community Recovery Project’s (EBCRP) mission is to support the well being of the community by providing substance abuse, mental health, and other health-related services.

Prior to investing in technology, EBCRP faced critical technology challenges that hampered service delivery.

Thanks to donated Cisco products that EBCRP received through TechSoup, the organization was able to dramatically improve its networking infrastructure. EBCRP now runs tailored software that it built in-house. These applications, in concert with other donated software products, have improved operational and clinical procedures dramatically and have enabled EBCRP to serve more clients more eff ectively and efficiently.

Social and business benefits as a result of the product grant:

• Greatly improved program quality and overall program eff ectiveness
• Enabled counselors to document treatment history and better track client development
• Created business intelligence that helps analyze demographics, measure and quantify results, thus enabling the organization to more effectively support fundraising efforts
